ok i had a whole bunch of images to update, got everything working, now i have to sell my stuff through here and with jack all profit,, SCREW THAT....

so i thought i would try to revive this folio thingy, i want to trash a lot of my old photos and put up new work but this site sucks! won't let me delete folders or images! pissing me off!

looks like i will continue to leave it rotting,......

yeah i'm slack, to be honest i haven't picked up a camera in about a month unless i'm doing something work orientated, this is probably due to the fact that downhill mountain biking seems to be taking up more of my time, not that it's a bad thing, it's awesome, and the camera is going to get one hell of a workout next winter, picked up more work while i was at the resort over summer, so it's going to be a hella busy winter, but once again thats a good thing,

i'm thinking i will have ot start taking a camera with me when i go riding, last friday we went for a shred for hte day, i stripped the head stem on my bike, this would have been the perfect oportunity to bust out a camera and a couple of flashes and shoot the guys but i left them all at home, boooo, lesson learnt

anyhoo i've got some gold fish pics i might put up (i know, random eh) the rest of the stuff i have snapped lately is really not interesting at all.

So my new D700 came just in the nick of time i put my hand up and volunteered to shoot the young blood comedy tour going through the yarra valley, i had a feeling that it would be really low light and i would really need the D700, luckily i got a call 3 hours before the show that my camera was in, so got home, set the date and time, charged the battery, chucked the new 24-70 on it and drove to the show, spent half an hour before the show figuring out the camera and it was great! (yeah i took my D200 along just incase! i'm not that dumb )

anyway, i was shooting at iso 4000!!! wtf, on my D200 that would have looked like a dust storm, with the 700 it was still clear as anything!
so needles to say i'm stoked with the new body, the lens is taking a bit of getting used to but it's sharp and thats the most important thing, just wish the zoom ring was bigger and it didn't have such a weird focus setup, meh, all good, ti's still a nice lens

so i'll probably put some of the shots up here once i have finished shooting the shows, and then i'll probably get back to the 100 images challenge, gotta prioritise tho,
